The Altar has an amazing assortment of dresses at very reasonable prices. Each dress was so unique and many I had not seen before. Morgan was such a delight and found the dress of my dreams. Her and the whole team were so supportive and down to earth. It was so refreshing not to be in a stuffy pushy environment like a lot of Chicago shops. After purchasing, the owner shared tips on how to have a long lasting marriage which truly sealed the deal, so sweet!

Had and absolutely wonderful experience finding my wedding dress here! The atmosphoere of the store was very relaxed and they had a large selection of gowns. Working with Victoria was fantastic-she was knowledgeable, supportive, helpful and incredibly patient as i tried on numerous dresses to find the perfect fit and style for my body. I loved having the ability to peruse on my own and pick dresses that called to me to try on, but I was also so impressed with Victorias selections. She knows the inventory so well, has worked at the shop for years, is chill, upbeat, encouraging, kind, gorgeous and made the entire experience!
